Personal note from our founder
A new chapter is coming
Dear AMELI community,
Over the past few months, a lot has been happening behind the scenes – because by the end of August, AMELI Zurich will undergo a rebranding.
But this step is about more than just a new logo. It marks the next chapter of our brand – one that comes with a series of thoughtful, long-considered improvements.
We’re refining our bags, introducing new leather types, making subtle design changes, and phasing out a few models to make space for what’s ahead.
With these product upgrades comes a necessary step...

We’re adjusting our prices – for the first time since 2021.
Production costs have steadily increased – especially for high-quality Italian leather, fair working conditions, and Italian craftsmanship and quality. Until now, we’ve absorbed these costs quietly.
But to stay true to what we believe in – exceptional quality, fairness, and long-term responsibility – we must now reflect these changes honestly and transparently in our pricing for the upcoming bags.
We’re taking this step with care and intention – and we’re excited to have you with us on this journey.
Learn more about what’s changing – and why – below.
With love from Zurich,
Christina

What this means for you
As we prepare for our rebranding, we want you to feel informed — especially when it comes to your favorite pieces.
Here’s what’s changing:
- All current AMELI Zurich bags will remain at their current prices — until they’re sold out.
- Some styles will be retired permanently. Once they’re gone, they won’t come back in this design, leather, or with the same logo.
- Others will be reimagined — with refined materials, updated details, and a new logo — and will return as part of the new collection at adjusted prices.
We believe in timeless design and thoughtful choices. If you’ve had your eye on something, now’s a good moment to decide — before these originals quietly leave our shelves.
The reasons behind our price adjustment
At AMELI, we believe in honest, fair pricing – built on values, not on discounts.
Our first price adjustment in over three years is a carefully considered step, driven by external changes, our continuous pursuit of improvement and the desire to stay true to our values of Italian craftsmanship and integrity.
What has changed externally
Since 2022, production conditions in Italy have changed significantly:
Leather prices have increased by up to 20%, due to limited raw materials and stricter environmental standards (UNIC).
Energy, labor, and transport costs have risen by 18–22%, affecting the entire fashion industry (Confindustria Moda).
General inflation in Italy has exceeded 12% since 2022 (Statista / Eurostat).
What we’ve improved — and why it matters
With our rebranding, we’ve taken the opportunity to re-evaluate and refine every detail of our collection:
New leather: All models now feature an upgraded selection of premium Italian leather — offering greater structure, longevity, and an even more refined look and feel.
Enhanced craftsmanship: From reinforcements to interior linings and stitching, every element has been thoughtfully improved to enhance quality and functionality.
Dedicated quality control: We’ve established a dedicated quality control to ensure consistently high standards — a step that, until now, hadn’t been reflected in our pricing.
