"Every girl, no matter where she lives, deserves the opportunity to develop the promise inside of her"
Growing up in the western world, we are privileged to get every education we can dream of. However, unlike us, many women in the world don't even have the right or access to any education at all. We share the opinion of Michelle Obama and Melinda Gates that women and girls should have the chance of getting educated - independent of their gender, origin or wealth.
In upcoming years we plan to support, amongst others, the following organizations:
Gates Foundation ("Empowerment and Opportunity Fund") Creating pathways to opportunity that support a thriving future for women and girls.
Girls Opportunity Alliance Seeking to empower adolescent girls around the world through education, allowing them to achieve their full potential and transform their families, communities, and countries.
Malala Fund Working for a world where every girl can learn and lead.
UN Women Working to develop and uphold standards and create an environment in which every woman and girl can exercise her human rights and live up to her full potential.
CAMFED Catalyzing the power of the most vulnerable girls and young women to create the future they imagine — for themselves, for their communities, and for Africa.
Care Foundation Working to increase access to quality education for marginalized children, particularly adolescent girls living in fragile and conflict-affected settings.
Unicef Working with communities, Governments and partners to remove barriers to girls’ education and promote gender equality in education – even in the most challenging settings.
The Dear Foundation Supporting children and women, so that eventually they are no longer dependent on help and handouts from us and others.
"Stitch by Stitch" - Sewing Empowerment Project Empowering girls & women in Pakistan with self-worth, literacy, & the financial freedom that comes from mastering the valuable trade of sewing.
