The name AMELI stems from the french girl name Amélie and the french verb améliorer, meaning to strive, boost, enhance. We want to advance you and all women by providing you with elegant, timeless pieces that do not compromise on functionality.
We are striving for more, better. We strive for better design - bringing you the perfect (business) handbag, fusing functionality with wearable, contemporary bag designs. We strive for a better world - valuing craftsmanship, integrity and transparency with handmade products from Italy. We strive for more than a bag - empowering women by donating part of our profits to NGOs supporting women's rights and education.
We have a showroom in Zurich close to Stadelhofen. You can come by, see your favourite bag in real life :)

SHIPPING & RETURN
From our European store we deliver to Austria, Germany, Belgium, Denmark, France, Netherlands, Italy, Poland, the rest of the EU and internationally. For any specific inquiries, please email info@ameli-zurich.com, and we will follow up with you shortly!
Delivery costs vary by order value, destination and delivery method. The exact rate will be calculated at the check-out.

Please note that the customs clearance process might take several days, especially during the holiday period. Unfortunately, we cannot influence the time required for the customs clearance process.
Within Europe no customs fees are applied. International orders (shipments outside the EU or Switzerland) may be subject to customs or import duties once the order has reached its destination country.
At AMELI ZURICH we try reduce the impact on the environment as best as possible. We use recycled cardboard without any logo to encourage re-usage of the boxes. Our handbags come with a branded cotton cover that can later be used as protection for the bag.
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition in which you received it; it must be unworn and unused, with tags, and in its original packaging.

Germany - Pack your AMELI product including all components (e.g., straps, dustbag) in the original packaging or another box of adequate size

We will issue a refund for the returned product within 10 business days of receiving it. The refund will be in the form of the original payment method used to purchase the product.
As a sustainable company, we do not offer free returns. Please note that return costs of 6 EUR for Germany, 10 EUR for Austria, and applicable shipping costs for other EU countries will be charged. Returns from outside the EU must be sent at your own expense.
If you do not use a return label from our portal, please send us an email at info@ameli-zurich.com with your order number and tracking code so that we can properly process your return in our systems.
We will issue a refund for the returned product within 10 business days of receiving it. The refund will be in the form of the original payment method used to purchase the product.
PAYMENT
Our shop provider only allows the check-out process in one currency which is EUR. If EUR isn’t your local currency, your payment will be processed at the most current exchange rate.
Once the order is handed over to the shipping company, you will receive an e-mail containing your tracking number and your invoice.
Please note that in case you pay with Klarna, the invoice will be sent separately by e-mail by Klarna.
We accept almost all major credit cards (MasterCard, VISA, Maestro, American Express), Google Pay, Apple Pay, Amazon Pay, Paypal and invoice via Klarna. Please note that in case you pay with Klarna, the invoice will be sent separately by Klarna.
In case those payment methods don’t work for you, just mail us at info@ameli-zurich.com and we will find a solution that works for you.
PRODUCTS & SERVICES
While we strive to produce under high-quality standards, it is possible that some bags may have unexpected issues. In such cases, we offer a repair service so that your favorite bag can stay with you forever. Learn more about our Repair Policy here.
If you encounter any issues, please contact us at info@ameli-zurich.com and provide pictures of the damage.
Since the repair service goes through our manufacturer in Italy, the entire process might take up to 3-4 weeks.
We stand behind the quality of our products and offer a two-year warranty on our bags for defects resulting from issues in the production process or materials used. Please note that the warranty does not cover "wear & tear" defects (e.g. scratches) that result from the regular use of the product.
